Sir, The historic referendum drew a line between the country’s old and new generations.
There is always a line between the generations. The young think they invented something; the mature look back and have already done it.
People did not vote in this EU referendum for themselves. They voted for the future of their children and grandchildren as much as anything else.
The opportunities trading with the whole world (including the EU) are much greater than they are trapped in the EU with the restrictions and costs on many levels that membership brings.
We should grasp this wonderful opportunity, and get out there to trade and interchange with the world.
Yours,
Reginald Bowler
