London, (The Muslim News): At least 27 Palestinians were killed at dawn Thursday in Israeli airstrikes in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. 200 Palestinians have been killed in the 24 hour period, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Local sources said that the warplanes carried out a series of intense raids on large areas in the northern and the southern Gaza Strip, specifically on the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the south where at least 27 people were killed in the bombings in Rafah.

The Israeli artillery also bombed the al-Daraj and al-Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City, and the town of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, said Wafa.

At least 18,608 Palestinians have been killed, including 7,729 children, 5,153 women, and 50,594 injured in the Israeli indiscriminate bombing of Gaza Strip since October7, reported Ministry of Health in Gaza. 1.9million Palestinians have been displaced by Israeli bombing in Gaza Strip.

1,200 Israelis were killed by Hamas on October 7 in Israel and around 139 Israelis are still held captive by Hamas, according to Israeli officials.

Meanwhile in London, people gathered at a vigil outside Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday to mourn Palestinian children killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza, reported Anadolu Agency.

Participants left flowers, toys and shoes at the site to raise awareness over the killing of children in the besieged enclave.

Carrying Palestinian flags, the crowd chanted slogans including “Netanyahu, shame on you,” “Israel is terrorist sate” and “Free Palestine.”

They also criticized the British government for not voting in favor of a UN General Assembly resolution Tuesday that demanded an immediate humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza.
