Sir, Muslim primary school pupils are doing very well as reported in The Muslim News. They surpassed national average in English and Maths. Muslim schools are doing much better these days. A lot of hard work by teachers, head teachers and trustees are being paid off.
Prime Minister, David Cameron, should read your league table of Muslim schools. His advisors, both Muslim and non-Muslims seem to be ignorant about the Muslim community. They live in ivory towers and make policies. Cameron’s comment that Muslims need to learn the English language shows how out of date he is. I do accept that there are a small number of people who don’t speak English properly. But this is not unique to Muslims. Most of other communities have the same problem. So why pick on only Muslims? It is pure and simple institutionalised Islamophobia.
