Sir, Your reporting on the continuing Islamophobic attacks across the country, coupled with the lack of protection and security for Muslims, highlights the Labour government’s lack of concern. You are absolutely right to ask, “Where is the same level of national outrage, attention and solidarity that follows other forms of hate crime?” The answer is that there isn’t any. Who cares? Those suffering are Muslims, after all. We are being treated as second-class citizens, with very few rights and little protection.
