Sir, Sarah Marshall’s excellent analysis of COP30 Climate Action Summit opened our eyes on how those with fossil fuel interests won the day against indigenous communities. This is not new as financial interests have a sway. We are seeing effect of climate change across the globe with so much misery and destruction. However, is heartening to see indigenous communities so active and standing against the powerful. They are the ones who will save our planet.
