Power is in cooperation
While self-love invites annihilation.
The web of a spider,
Fragile yet amazing in its complexity.
Each thread futile on its own
But forcefully effective attached to others
Embodying a subtle means for provision.
Rainbow colours,
Separately uniform,
Though glimpsed together,
A masterpiece in art,
Beautiful and beautifying.
The busy, buzzing honey-makers,
Insignificant while solitary,
But fiercely threatening and
Mastermind technicians in a clan,
Labouring day and night to a common end.
The delicate silk-threads meticulously woven,
Seemingly insignificant and purposeless,
Sewn together elaborately
With patterns endlessly evolving,
Construct an impressive garment,
Durable, inside and out.
Such examples serve to illustrate
The capacity of man to bind with others.
Detached and isolated,
His efforts are weak, egocentric.
Connected to others, blood and beyond,
Has the ability to transform and transcend
Societal ills,
To urge good and counter evil intents,
Strengthened by the support of Him,
In Whose Grasp is our success.
