Scrolling news:

Theresa May must address intolerance in India

28th Oct 2016

Sir, I was appalled to read the atrocities being perpetrated by the extremist Hindus who follow the BJP against Muslims, including gang raping Muslim women for allegedly eating beef!

And as your report says, Muslims, both men and women are also killed, for the same accusations.
What is of greater concern is that the world, including the UK, is silent on such human rights abuses in India. Our Prime Minister, Theresa May, is soon going to India. Will she bring up the human rights issue with Modi in public?

In addition, British Muslims were killed in riots in Gujarat in 2002 when Modi was its governor and nothing has been done about this issue. Will May take this issue with Modi?
I don’t believe so.

Sir, What a hateful attitude of these people of so called biggest democracy in the world? Since Modi has came to power intolerance has increased. It is impossible for the world to comprehend the severity of his supporters’ extremism. On the one hand it is the biggest beef exporter in the world and on other hand they kill/rape Muslims for eating beef.

This Modi must be tried for committing atrocities in Jammu & Kashmir. The world must condemn Modi and ban him from travelling outside India as before. Shame is on the US which is helping him to kill innocent Kashmiris by supplying him with weapons.

Yours
Sardar Khan
