Sir, Hope they get some justice. (‘Family of British Muslims murdered in Gujarat concerned May didn’t take up issue with Modi’, The Muslim News 25 November).

Our Government should help them more instead of being afraid of raising this with Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. I suppose they feel embarrassed to raise this issue when they’re going to India with their begging bowls. Regardless, Theresa May came back empty handed. We have a Spineless leadership currently.

Sir, I am surprised that our Prime Minister, Theresa May, could not bring the issue of British Muslims murdered in Gurjarat with Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi as this was a humanitarian issue. All the family members have requested for is for the remains of the bodies to be returned so that they could have a closure. It has been 14 year now and both the Labour and Conservative governments have failed.

Is the reason because the victims happen to be Muslim? I am sure if they were Christians or Jews of people of other faith, then our political leadership would have resolved the issue long time ago.
