Muslims in Premiership

Sir, I did not know that there are 50 Muslims playing in the Premiership! Thank you for the excellent article (‘Rising prominence of Muslim players in the Premiership’ The Muslim News 26 January)
Unfortunately most of the players are not British Muslims. We need to encourage more Muslims in this country to play football, hoping they will join the Premiership.
What is interesting is that the Muslims are playing in 19 different clubs.
