Israeli atrocities rewarded by UK

29th Jun 2018

Sir, Since the massacre of Palestinian civilians, including women and children, by the Israeli army in Gaza, the world has not done much to punish the Israelis, not even the Muslim world.

The Muslim 57 Muslim states body, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, met to discuss the crime against humanity committed by Israel. All they did do, as they always do, is to pass a large number of resolutions and do nothing. Only Turkey withdrew their ambassador from Tel Aviv.

The Arab League also met and issued a number of resolutions and did nothing.

Our Government did not even condemn the murders, but only showed “concern”! (The Muslim News June 8)

No action has been taken by the western world too. They have sanctions against Muslim countries they don’t like but do not have sanctions against Israel even though Israel has broken more UN resolutions than any other countries in the world.

On the contrary, our Government rewards Israel’s atrocities by continuing to trade with Israel and selling them arms to kill the Palestinian civilians and continue to occupy Palestinian lands.

Yours
