Challenges of voluntary organisations

Sir, It’s good to see open discussion around the issues of founders of voluntary organisations and charities, alongside acknowledgement of founder strengths and weaknesses. [‘Founder’s syndrome or power vacuums? Tale of Muslim-led organisations’ The Muslim News, 28 June 2019]. This is why I recently set up a dedicated Network for what I call ‘social founders’ – founders of charities and social enterprises. We have some interesting Muslim founders as part of our Network and would welcome more.
