LONDON (AA): A male suspect has been arrested in connection to an acid attack on two Muslims, according to a statement Sunday by Metropolitan Police.

Police appealed for information about Tomlin’s whereabouts following the June 21 “Islamophobic” attack in which “both victims received life-changing injuries”.

In an emotional interview with broadcaster Channel 4, Mukhtar described the acid attack as an “Islamophobic hate-crime”.

“I believe it was something to do with Islamophobia or maybe he’s got it in for Muslims because of what’s been going on lately,” he said

Although so far I am not sure whether this particular incident is an islamophobic attack despite the statement of the victim.

What cannot be denied is that hatred for Islam as well as discrimination and violence directed towards Muslims has skyrocketed in recent times.

I believe the western governments via the use of their main tool, western mainstream media has disillusioned their masses against Islam.
