UK: Eid Al Adha message from Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn

London, (The Muslim News):

Eid al Adha message by the Leader of the Opposition and Labour Party, Rt Hon Jeremy Corbyn:

Jeremy Corbyn | Eid Mubarak

I’d like to wish a very warm Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating in the UK and around the world.

Posted by Jeremy Corbyn on Tuesday, 21 August 2018

“A joyous Eid mubarak to everyone celebrating today with friends, family and, of course, neighbours in our community.

Eid-ul-Adha recalls the sacrifices of Abraham who’s revered by Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

Ir reminds us about making sacrifices to help others and those that are less fortunate than ourselves here and around the world.

Let’s ensure compassion and respect are enshrined in our society for people of all faiths and none.

And let us celebrate our differences as we work together to achieve a more peaceful and prosperous world for everyone.”
