Palestine: Israeli forces injure protesters near Jerusalem

IMEMC News & Agencies: Israeli occupation forces opened fire on Friday evening, near Jerusalem, injuring two citizens.

Soldiers opened fire at unarmed Palestinian protesters in Abu-Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, Days of Palestine reports.

Witnesses said that the soldiers fired tear gas canisters, stun grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets to disperse the protesters.

One of the wounded, according to Red Crescent, was hit in the head and suffered a wound was described as moderate, while the other was hit in his waist and suffered “light” wounds.

In response to the Israeli aggression, the Palestinian protesters threw stones at the soldiers
