HADHRAMAUT, (AA): At least 25 soldiers were killed on Sunday in a suicide attack — which has since been claimed by the Daesh terrorist group — in Yemen’s southern Hadhramaut province, local sources told Anadolu Agency.
The attack, which occurred at an army recruitment office in Hadhramaut’s Al-Mukalla district where fresh recruits were being trained, left at least another 60 injured.
Of the injured, many remain in critical condition, local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity due to fears for their safety, said.
In the wake of the attack, the Daesh-affiliated AMAQ news agency reported that the terrorist group had claimed responsibility for the blast.
