Scrolling news:

Muslim schools excel

24th Apr 2020

Sir, The uniqueness about The Muslim News truly provides news which no other media, Muslim or otherwise does. Your continuous reporting and analysis of Muslim schools and their GCSE exam results is case in point (‘Muslim schools: 2019 GCSE and equivalent exam results, The Muslim News, March 27).
What is refreshing to see is that three Muslim schools occupied the top three positions in nationwide GCSE ranking by Department of Education. And nine of thirteen state funded Muslim schools made the top 21 list!
You hardly ever see any news in the media which talks about achievements of Muslims and their contributions to the society. That is why I believe we need an alternative media, a newspaper like yours.
What I am really surprised is that no Muslim institution is doing the work like yours on Muslim schools.
Yours,
Hasina Shah
