Sir, I loved your comprehensive report on the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) in Doha, Qatar. So much was covered in the meeting, Islamic medical ethics, mental health, vaccine innovation, migrant health issues, and equitable access to health care—all important issues.
My favourite parts were the Islamic ethical challenges in paediatrics and the Islamic ethics of milk banking, as I learned so much about these challenging and contemporary issues.
Dr Mohammed Ghaly’s Islamic view on how to overcome milk kinship by providing breast milk is fascinating, as is his innovative idea of feeding sessions that can overcome the kinship issue.
