For too long, international geopolitical power has been reserved for a few countries that exploit the resources and peoples of the global south while masquerading as bastions of human rights and democracy. Ideally, the economic growth of BRICS+ will also bring into question the concept of five permanent members of the UN Security Council wielding so much power over the rest of the world.
