Sir, Your review of the report on Hindutva-led attacks against Muslims in Leicester—and the police inaction that followed—was eye-opening. Unfortunately, it appears that some recent arrivals from India during the Conservative government have brought with them attitudes influenced by Modi’s anti-Muslim policies. They are continuing patterns of harassment against Muslims, shaped by Modi’s Islamophobic views.
Hindutva extremism is a serious threat and must be addressed. I hope the government recognises this and takes decisive action.
