Gaza: 88 Palestinians killed, 135 injured by Israeli attacks last 24 hours

London, (The Muslim News): According to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza, 88 Palestinians were killed and 135 others injured by indiscriminate attacks by Israeli forces in Gaza. At least 31,272 Palestinians have been killed, 73,024 others injured, of whom 72 per cent are women and children, by Israeli attacks, according to MoH in Gaza since 7 October.

Six Palestinians were killed in the West Bank between the afternoons of 12 and 13 March, bringing to 107 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and illegal settlers in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2024.

Israeli attack hits UN aid distribution centre in Rafah, Gaza, killing at least five Palestinians and wounding dozens.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has published footage of its teams receiving a phone call from a Palestinian family whose members were buried under the rubble of their house in Deir el-Balah as a result of shelling by the Israeli military.

The video posted on X shows the PRCS teams coordinating between the injured under the rubble and the rescuers on the ground.

The organisation said its teams so far had retrieved six bodies and rescued nine wounded Palestinians from under the rubble.

At least 15 Palestinian civilians, including two women and seven children, were killed and dozens were wounded today in Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Al-Daraj and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods in Gaza City, according to medical and local sources, reports Wafa news agency.

Medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, resulting in the tragic killing of seven people, including three children, and wounding others.

Another Israeli airstrike targeted a house of the Azzam family in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, in south of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of eight, including four children and two women.

Five Palestinian civilians, including children, were Wednesday morning killed, and others were injured, following an Israeli bombing of Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent said that the Israeli artillery fired 4 shells near Al-Quds Hospital, which is affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, killing five Palestinians, including children, and wounding a number of others with various injuries.

A young Palestinian man and a 16-year-old child were killed, and three others were injured tonight as Israeli occupation forces opened fire on them near the town of Al-Jib, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams dealt with two fatalities and three injuries at the Israeli military checkpoint outside the town of Al-Jib.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that two slain individuals and three others with moderate gunshot wounds were brought to the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah, after they had been targeted by Israeli army gunfire near the town of Al-Jib.

The two slain individuals were identified as the child Abdullah Mamoun Assaf, aged 16, and the young Zaid Ward Khalaifeh, aged 23.

Earlier in the evening, a 13-year-old boy identified as Rami Hamdan Al-Halhuli was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces in the Shuafat refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem.
