(The Muslim News): 52 more Palestinians were killed and 71 others injured by indiscriminate bombings by Israeli Defence Forces in Gaza Strip and the West Bank in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll of Palestinians in Gaza to 39,653, including 16,251 children and 91,535 injured since last Oct. 7, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Tuesday. More than 70% of victims of Israeli bombings have been women and children.
A civilian was killed and another was wounded today in an Israeli bombing of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah, killing one citizen and injuring another.
The Israeli forces also targeted a house at the al-Maghrebi intersection in Gaza City, injuring a number of civilians, including children.
The Israeli army on Tuesday killed six more Palestinians in Israeli airstrikes and shelling on several areas across the Gaza Strip.
A medical source told Anadolu Agency that five Palestinians from the Nabaheen family who were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the eastern area of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, arrived at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
The source said the slain Palestinians were struck by an Israeli drone when they returned to check their homes.
Eyewitnesses also told Anadolu that the Israeli army kidnapped three bodies of Palestinians killed in the same incident at the Bureij camp.
Meanwhile, another medical source told Anadolu that the rescue teams removed the body of a Palestinian from under the rubble of a destroyed home in the Saudi neighborhood in western Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces killed at least 12 Palestinians as they launched several raids in different locations across the occupied West Bank.
Nine Palestinian youths were Tuesday killed by Israeli occupation forces in several areas in the occupied West Bank in the span of 10 hours, security and health sources confirmed.
Two Palestinian youths and a child were dawn on Tuesday killed and seven others were injured by Israeli occupation forces during a raid into the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, bringing the death toll to four.
The Ministry of Health informed WAFA correspondent that Nour Mohammad Yassin Al-Yassin,19, and Ameed Yassin Ghanem,19, were killed after they were shot by Israeli forces, and were both from the town of Aqaba.
WAFA correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the vicinity of the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas, and opened fire on the civilians, killing Bilal Izz al-Din Sawafta,14, from the city of Tubas.
A medical source at the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas reported earlier on Monday evening that Ayser Abu Ara, 37, was killed due to his critical head injury.
In Jenin, where the occupation forces continue to storm the city of Jenin and its camp, and destroy the infrastructure, amidst the outbreak of confrontations, four Palestinian youths were killed after Israeli occupation forces bombed a vehicle in the city of Jenin.
The Ministry of Health said Ahmed Hussam al-Din Kamel al-Saadi, 18, was killed after the occupation forces bombed a vehicle in the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin.
Jenin Hospital Director Wissam Bakr told WAFA that the bodies of four civilians, scattered in pieces, from the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, were taken to the hospital after the occupation forces prevented the crews from reaching the bombed sites.
So far, only Al-Saadi, Ayham Hassan Jabr Zakarneh, and Khattab Majd Badawiya have been identified, in addition to six others injured by shrapnel and bullets.
An eyewitness from the eastern neighborhood confirmed that the slain youths were sitting near his house behind Al-Saadi’s office and did not participate in any confrontations as they were directly targeted by an occupation drone.
The remains of the slain youths were found before they were transferred to the hospital.
Another youth was also critically injured.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian youth was killed by Israeli occupation forces west of Bethlehem.
Security sources reported to WAFA that a young man was killed by occupation forces at the tunnels checkpoint northwest of Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, on the pretext that he allegedly carried out a stabbing operation near the checkpoint.
Two Palestinians in their early 30s were killed and three others were injured today by Israeli occupation forces’ live bullets in the village of Kafr Qud, west of the city of Jenin, according to local sources.
Sources said that an occupation army force cordoned off a house in the village of Kafr Qud and opened heavy gunfire towards it, killing two people and injuring three others. The two slain Palestinians were identified as Waleed Jamal Hussain and Khader Abu Qotneh.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews’ access to the scene.

Four Palestinians were killed by the Israeli forces which carried out a midnight raid into the town of Aqaba near Tubas city in the northern occupied West Bank on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry said four Palestinians were killed and seven others injured, two seriously, in Israeli firing in Aqaba town.
The Palestinian official news agency Wafa quoted local sources as saying that the Israeli army raided the Aqaba town and cordoned off a house, triggering clashes with Palestinians.
It added that the Israeli army detained one Palestinian after he was injured inside the besieged house.
Number of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7th has risen to 612, including 144 children, in addition to more than 5,400 others who were injured, according to the Health Ministry.
In a landmark opinion on July 19, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestinian land “illegal” and demanded the evacuation of all existing settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 and more than 200 were taken captive.
