(The Muslim News): Israel Defence Forces indiscriminate bombings killed 80 Palestinians and injured 216 others in the last 24 hours according to Ministry of Health in the enclave. the latest killings has pushed the overall death toll to 38,664 and injured to 89,097 according to the Ministry of Health.
Several Palestinians were killed and others injured on Monday in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas in the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources cited by Anadolu Agency, a number of Palestinians were killed in the Israeli bombardment across the region. In one incident, three Palestinians lost their lives, and several others were wounded when Israeli forces struck a group of civilians in Mansoura Street in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City.
The Israeli artillery also targeted several locations in the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City. Additionally, Israeli warplanes fired missiles north of Gaza City in the Zahra district, as reported by eyewitnesses.
In central Gaza, five Palestinians, including three children, were killed and others sustained varying injuries during an Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment in the Maghazi refugee camp.
Medical sources confirmed that five fatalities, including three children, and other injuries occurred among innocent civilians due to the Israeli airstrikes targeting a house belonging to the Manaama family while they were asleep. The casualties were transported to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
In the town of Al Zawayda, the Israeli army targeted a group of civilians near the Abu Salah Well area, resulting in casualties, including one death.
The Israeli artillery also struck targets in the central al-Mughraqa neighborhood, although the specific objectives remain unidentified.
Further south, Israeli fighter jets bombed a residential apartment near the Ismail Abu Shanab Mosque, located in the vicinity of the Al-Awda Schools in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis. Witnesses reported no immediate injuries.
According to field sources, Israeli helicopters fired on areas west of the city of Rafah.
These airstrikes coincide with continued clashes in various sectors where Israeli forces have penetrated different parts of the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza headquarters of the UN’s Palestinian refugee agency, UNRWA, in Gaza City has been “flattened and turned into a battlefield”, said its head, Philippe Lazzarini, as Israel’s latest ground campaign in the city continues to rage.
Children among the 80 Palestinians killed over the past day as fighter jets, heavy artillery, and helicopter gunships attack Gaza from the north to south.

Officials in Gaza say Israeli missiles killed 17 Palestinians and injured 80 sheltering at a United Nations school for displaced people in Nuseirat refugee camp, reported Al Jazeera.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews recovered the bodies of six people after a house came under attack by Israeli forces in Camp 1, Nuseirat, in the central Gaza Strip.
“The ongoing nightmare of more than 9 months of relentless night bombings and explosions continues”, the PRCS wrote on X.
The Government Media Office in Gaza says in a statement that at least 320 dead or wounded Palestinians have been brought to hospitals across the enclave in a particularly bloody 48 hours.
It quoted healthcare officials as saying that many of the dead and injured arrived with third-degree burns caused by internationally banned weapons like thermal bombs.
“These weapons cause chemical substances to interact with the skin and directly cause chemical corrosion of the tissues in the bodies of the martyrs and the injured. They also cause severe pain.”
The office said many victims die in a little more than a day after being wounded by such weapons, adding that it holds Washington fully responsible for arming Israel and causing the many “massacres” committed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
Seven civilians were killed this evening in an Israeli bombardment of multiple areas in the besieged Gaza Strip, according to Wafa News Agency.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society crew said they were able to recover the bodies of two civilians who were killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Siyam neighborhood north of the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
The paramedics added that they were also able to recover four bodies in an Israeli bombing of an apartment in the center of the Maghazi refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.

A fighter jet hit a residential apartment in Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing four and injuring several others, the sources said.
Three more people were killed in a drone strike in Shejaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City, the sources said.
Fatalities were also reported in an Israeli strike on a school in Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City.
Three people, including a child, were also killed when an Israeli drone struck a house west of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, another medical source said.
Two people were also reported killed in Israeli shelling north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
(AA) – The death toll from Israeli bombardment of a UN-run school sheltering displaced Palestinians in the central Gaza Strip rose to 22, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
At least 102 other people were injured in the attack that targeted the Abu Oreiban School run by the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in the Nuseirat refugee camp on Sunday, the ministry added in a statement.
According to witnesses, several children and women were among the victims.
The Israeli army acknowledged the attack, claiming that the school served as a hideout and operational infrastructure for attacks against its forces.
Sunday’s school attack came one day after at least 90 people were killed and nearly 300 others injured in an Israeli strike on a “humanitarian zone” for displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip.
