Gaza: 64 Palestinians killed, 105 injured by Israeli bombings in the last 24 hrs

(The Muslim News): 64 more Palestinians were killed and 105 injured by Israeli indiscriminate attacks in the Gaza Strip, taking the overall death toll to 38,983 and injuries to 89,727 since Oct. 7, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Sunday.

In addition, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to a medical source.

The attack targeted a group of civilians in the city, witnesses said.

Several civilians were killed this evening in an Israeli air strike that shelled a house in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA News Agencies correspondent and local sources said that three Palestinians, including two children, were killed, and several others were injured after the Israeli forces shelled a house in the Qizan an-Najjar area south of Khan Yunis.

Furthermore, several civilians were injured after the Israeli artillery shelled a mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.

A medical source said the bodies of the victims were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis.

Eight civilians were killed and many others were injured today in an Israeli forces’ shelling targeting the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah, as well as the Bureij refugee camp in the southern and central Gaza Strip, respectively.

Local sources reported that the Palestine Red Crescent teams recovered one body and two wounded people following the shelling of a house in the town of Bani Suheila east of Khan Yunis.

The Red Crescent teams also recovered the bodies of three civilians who were killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Shaboura refugee camp in the center of Rafah city.

Israeli warplanes bombarded a residential apartment in the Bureij camp in the central Strip, resulting in the killing of four civilians.

At least seven civilians, including women and children, were killed last night as Israeli occupation forces targeted a home with missiles in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Local sources confirmed that Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Khalifa family in Bureij camp, resulting in the killing of seven civilians and injuries to others.

Another Palestinian journalist was killed Sunday in an Israeli attack on the central Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll to 162 since Oct. 7, 2023.

At least 22 were killed by strikes on Sunday, according to the Government Media office.

Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in the central Gaza Strip told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army targeted the Ghorab family house north of the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.

The attack killed journalist Moatasem Ghorab and four of his family members, including two girls.

Three Palestinians were Sunday evening killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli aircraft and artillery bombing the city of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, and Rafah in the south.

Local sources reported that Israeli artillery bombed a house belonging to Qadan family next to Al-Siddiqin Mosque, north of Beit Lahia, which led to the killing of a citizen and the injury of others.

They added that the Israeli warplanes targeted a group of Palestinians in Mirage area, north of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, which led to the killing of two citizens and the injury of others.

They were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis.

Ten Palestinians were killed Saturday in Israeli airstrikes that targeted two houses in the central Gaza Strip.

The Al-Awda Hospital said in a statement that it received four bodies and several victims who were injured as a result of an Israeli aircraft targeting a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

The death toll in Israel from Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is estimated at 1,139 with dozens of people still held captive in Gaza.
