London, (The Muslim News): At least 20 more Palestinians were killed and 76 others injured by Israeli Defence Forces indiscriminate bombings in the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since last Oct. 7 to 41,226, and 95,413 others injured, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Monday.
“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.
Six Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were killed late Sunday in an airstrike by an Israeli fighter jet on a house in Gaza City.
Gaza’s civil defense agency said on Telegram that the six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli aerial attack targeting a house in the Shamm’a area.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that an Israeli fighter jet struck the home of the Basil family, resulting in the destruction of the house, damage to neighboring homes and the deaths of six Palestinians, with others injured.
Three Palestinians, including a woman, were killed in an Israeli airstrike north of Gaza City on Sunday evening, the Civil Defense Service said.
Several people were also injured in the attack that targeted a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, the service added.
Damage was reported to several houses in the area as civil defense teams were searching for two missing children under the rubble, witnesses said.
Israeli forces continue deadly assaults across Gaza, killing at least 10 people in Nuseirat camp as well as targeting Gaza City’s Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan neighbourhoods where another 10 people, including children, were killed, reported Al Jazeera.
At least five civilians killed and several others injured on Monday as a result of the bombing carried out by the Israeli warplanes on a bakery in the Sumoud refugee camp housing displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city, reported Wafa News Agency.
In a related context, the bodies of two brothers from the Qishta family were recovered from the Khirbet Al-Adas area east of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, after they were targeted while they were on an agricultural tractor on Al-Shuhada Street in the Musbah area, north of the city.

Local sources reported that the Israeli warplanes bombed a poultry farm belonging to the Abu Shaar family northwest of Rafah, resulting in the killing of two civilians.
Ten civilians were killed and others were injured at dawn after the occupation forces bombed a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile in occupied West Bank, illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian school on Monday in the Mu’arrajat area, northwest of the West Bank city of Jericho, according to a local activist.
Students and teachers were assaulted by illegal settlers during the attack on the Arab al-Ka’abneh Primary School, injuring several people and besieging the school premises, Hassan Mleihat of the non-governmental Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights said in a statement.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said seven people were injured and hospitalized after the attack.
Witnesses said two people, including the school principal, were arrested by Israeli forces on accusations of attacking the settlers. The other detainee was an Israeli peace activist.
The Palestinian Education Ministry denounced the settler attack, accusing the Israeli army and settlers of disrupting education and terrorizing Palestinian children.
It called the attack a “recurring violation that reveals the ugly face of the Israeli occupation and its disregard for children’s rights.”
At least 704 people, including 159 children, have since been killed and more than 5,700 injured in Israeli raids and settler attacks across the occupied West Bank since the war on Gaza began.
In Israel, the number of those killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 is at least 1,139, while more than 200 people were taken captive.
