Gaza, (Wafa, AA, Agencies): At least 132 people killed in Gaza in the past 24 hours as Israel steps up air-and-ground assault.

Accordng to Gaza Health Ministry, 24,100 Palestinians have been killed, including 10,400 children, 7,100 women, 60,834 others have been injured by Israeli indiscriminate bombing in Gaza Strip since 7 October. More than 7,000 Palestinians are still missing.

The UN’s humanitarian agency (OCHA) says Israeli authorities are denying access to northern Gaza for deliveries of medicines and fuel to run water and waste pumps.

At least 57 Palestinians at night were killed and dozens wounded following intense Israeli airstrikes targeting several areas in the Gaza Strip, according to local and security sources.

Sources said that at least 20 people were killed following an Israeli airstrike targeting a house for the Al-Sousi family in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in the center of Gaza City, while dozens of others sustained several injuries.

The intense and fierce airstrikes resulted in massive destruction of the house on the heads of its occupants, in addition to neighboring houses,

Following the bombing, dozens of dead bodies and injured individuals were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex west of the city. .

For the fifth day in a row, the complete interruption of communications and Internet services in the Gaza Strip continues, due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

This is at least the seventh time that communications have been completely cut off from the Gaza Strip since the start of the aggression on October 7.

Networks and transmission towers were damaged as a result of the massive destruction caused by the aggression to the infrastructure, and the lack of fuel due to the siege. This led to frequent outages, pressure on the network, and weak transmission in various parts of the sector.

Medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, leading to the killing of nearly 132 and 252 injured during the past 24 hours.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Monday that the high-intensify ground operation in the northern Gaza Strip has ended, reported Al-Jazeera.

“In the south of the Gaza Strip [the intensive phase] will end soon,” Gallant said, without giving an exact timeline.

Gallant said the army will carry out low-intensified operations in northern Gaza, adding that Israeli forces are working to locate the remaining Hamas sites in the area.

The Israeli army on Monday withdrew its 36th Division from the Gaza Strip for rest and training amid a deadly offensive on the Palestinian territory.

According to Israeli Army Radio, three other divisions will remain in Gaza as part of the current offensive in the enclave.

The move is seen as part of the Israeli army’s plans for a long war in the Gaza Strip.
