130 Palestinians have been killed and 168 others injured by indiscriminate bombings by Israel Defence Forces in the Gaza Strip in the last 48 hours according to Ministry of Health in the enclave leading to the total number of Palestinians killed by Israel forces to at least 38,794 and 89,364 wounded in in Gaza Strip since October 7.
Meanwhile, at least eight UN-run schools sheltering people in the Strip have been hit in the past 10 days. In nine months of war, 70 percent of UNRWA facilities have been bombed and 539 people sheltering there killed.
Seven people, including three children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to local authorities.
The Health Ministry said four people, including three children, were killed and 10 others injured in a strike targeting a house in Abasan al-Kabira area in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Three more people lost their lives when Israeli forces shelled a group of civilians north of Gaza City, the Civil Defense Agency said.
The Israeli army killed at least 10 more Palestinians in raids on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip amid ongoing shelling across the tiny enclave as its ongoing deadly onslaught enters its day 285.
Speaking to Anadolu, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the rescue teams recovered seven bodies and a number of injured people from the rubble of a destroyed home of the Diab family in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that an Israeli airstrike on the Abdullah Azzam Mosque in the Nuseirat refugee camp left two people killed and 15 others injured.
It added that another Palestinian was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a home of the Eisawi family in the Nuseirat camp.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli overnight artillery shelling was reported in all areas of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City, Khan Younis and Rafah.
Several Palestinians were killed and wounded in Israeli airstrikes late Tuesday on parts of the Gaza Strip, which also destroyed three homes.
Artillery fire also targeted lands in the central and northern governorates.
Israeli warplanes targeted a house in the Al-Manara neighborhood of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, with no immediate reports of injuries, according to Anadolu.
Earlier, an Israeli strike hit a residential apartment in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood southwest of Gaza City. The local civil defense agency said the attack did not result in injuries.
Israeli fighter jets also struck a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing five Palestinians, according to medical sources cited by Anadolu.
In the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city in southern Gaza, field sources reported several fatalities due to an Israeli strike.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery continued to shell targets across the Gaza Strip, hitting land west of the Nuseirat camp and the Kleibo area east of Sheikh Zayed Towers.
At least 40 Palestinians were killed and scores injured on Tuesday in Israeli attacks targeting displaced people in the Gaza Strip, according to local authorities.
The Health Ministry said 17 people lost their lives and 26 others were injured in an airstrike in Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Al-Mawasi was designated by the Israeli army as a “humanitarian zone” for displaced Palestinians amid Tel Aviv’s deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip.
Another 23 people were killed and 73 others injured in another strike on a UN-run school sheltering displaced people in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, the government media office said in a statement.
At least 25 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday in Israeli attacks targeting displaced people in the Gaza Strip, according to medics.
