London, (The Muslim News): Between the afternoons of 5 and 6 February, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza, 107 Palestinians were killed, and 143 Palestinians were injured by indiscriminate Israeli bombing in Gaza bringing total Palestinians killed to 27,585 and 66,978 Palestinians injured. More than 8,000 people were reported missing. Last figures received for children killed, is 11,500  and women killed is 8,000.

According to United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, intense Israeli bombardment from air, land, and sea continues to be reported across much of the Gaza Strip, particularly in and around Khan Younis, resulting in further civilian casualties, displacement, and destruction of civilian infrastructure. Ground operations and fighting between Israeli forces and Palestinian armed groups also continue to be reported across much of Gaza.

The UN says “everything possible” must be done to avoid an Israeli attack on Rafah, a city in southern Gaza, which it says could lead to a “large scale” loss of life.

Dozens of civilians, including children and women, were killed and wounded this evening in the ongoing Israeli bombing against different parts of the besieged Gaza Strip, reports Wafa news agency.

Local sources reported that six civilians were killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted their vehicle in the Khirbat al-Adas neighborhood in Rafah City, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Twenty civilians were killed and injured in an Israeli bombardment of a house east of the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that 14 citizens were killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Hanawi School in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Two civilians were also killed by Israeli soldiers’ gunfire. The occupation forces opened fire toward a UNRWA-run school in Khan Yunis, killing two, according to sources.

A civilian was also killed and others were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted a site near the Egyptian-Palestinian borders in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli authorities, 1,304 Israelis were killed by Hamas in southern Israel on 7 October. According to Israel, 136 Israelis and foreign nationals are being held captive by Hamas in Gaza.
