London, (The Muslim News): At least four Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to Palestinian medical sources, in the latest reported violations of the ongoing ceasefire.
Two Palestinians were killed when an Israeli drone struck civilians in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in northwestern Gaza, according to a medical source cited by Anadolu Agency.
Witnesses said the drone carried out a second strike against civilians who had rushed to the scene to rescue those wounded in the initial attack. A child was among those reportedly injured.
In northern Gaza, Israeli gunfire killed a 65-year-old Palestinian man at a displacement camp east of Jabalia refugee camp, another medical source said.
A separate Israeli drone strike in Sheikh Ajleen, southwest of Gaza City, killed another Palestinian and wounded two others, including one who was critically injured, according to medical sources.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its teams transported nine wounded Palestinians to Al-Saraya Field Hospital after an Israeli strike hit Al-Sinaa Street in Gaza City.
Israeli forces also reportedly opened heavy fire from positions behind the so-called “yellow line” towards areas east of Deir al-Balah and Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, as well as east of Khan Younis in the south.
Shelling was also reported off the coasts of Gaza City and Khan Younis.
Ceasefire death toll continues to rise
Gaza’s Health Ministry said Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement since October 2025 have killed 1,372 Palestinians and wounded 4,659 others.
The figures come as Gaza continues to grapple with the destruction caused by Israel’s military campaign.
According to Gaza health authorities, nearly 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 174,000 wounded since October 2023. Around 90 percent of Gaza’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, according to figures cited in the report.
The latest attacks have renewed concerns over the durability of the ceasefire and the continued threat facing Palestinians across the territory.
Homes demolished in occupied West Bank
Thousands of kilometres away from the immediate fighting in Gaza, Israeli authorities continued demolition operations in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli bulldozers on Tuesday began demolishing Palestinian homes, mobile homes and agricultural structures in Humsa, in the southern West Bank, according to the Al-Baidar Association for Bedouin Rights and a local mayor.
The demolitions are reportedly intended to contribute to the establishment of a “settlement belt” stretching from northern to southern Hebron.
Al-Baidar said the demolitions were deepening the suffering of Palestinian families and threatening their livelihoods.
The organisation said the operation formed part of a broader policy targeting Palestinian communities and increasing the risk of forced displacement.
Israeli authorities maintain that demolitions target structures constructed without permits. Palestinian institutions and rights groups, however, say Israel’s planning system severely restricts Palestinian construction while allowing settlement expansion.
Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank are considered illegal under international law by the United Nations and the overwhelming majority of the international community.
Palestinian killed during Al-Bireh raid
Israeli forces also killed a Palestinian man during a military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Al-Bireh, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The ministry identified him as Ziad Mohammed Jaber, 54, who was shot in the Umm al-Sharayet neighbourhood.
Residents said Israeli special forces raided Jaber’s home and opened fire.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society earlier reported that a Palestinian had been critically wounded by gunfire to the abdomen and thigh.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said Jaber had been shot twice during the raid and accused Israeli forces of turning arrest operations into what it called “field executions”.
The organisation said Jaber’s nephew and another relative were also arrested.
At least 30 Palestinians were detained across the occupied West Bank between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, according to the prisoner rights organisation.
The group called on the United Nations and international human rights organisations to investigate reported killings during arrest operations and hold those responsible accountable.
Israeli forces routinely conduct raids across the occupied West Bank, including in Palestinian cities, towns and refugee camps. The operations often involve arrests, home searches and the use of live ammunition.
For Palestinians, the violence in Gaza and the expanding pressure in the occupied West Bank are unfolding as part of a broader crisis that has intensified since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023.
