(Gaza City, Al Jazeera, Wafa, OCHA: According to the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza, 97 Palestinians were killed, and 123 Palestinians were injured by indiscriminate bombing of Israeli forces in Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. 30,631 Palestinians were killed in Gaza and 72,043 others injured by Israeli bombings since 7 October according to MoH in Gaza.

An Israeli air attack on a home in Khan Younis in southern Gaza has killed at least eight people, Wafa reports.

More than 34 Palestinian civilians were killed during the past 24 hours following Israeli airstrikes that targeted Palestinian homes in the cities of Gaza and Khan Yunis, according to medical sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex and the Gaza European Hospital.

Medical sources at Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City said that nine people were killed, while the Gaza European Hospital said that Israeli airstrikes killed 25 civilians in Khan Yunis, 17 of whom were killed in the bombing of Al-Faqawi family home.

A number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombing of Al-Rashid Al-Sahel Street.

The Israeli artillery bombed the western areas of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Israeli aircraft and artillery also intensified bombardment of the city of Khan Yunis and its surrounding areas, especially Hamad Town, north of the city of Khan Yunis.

Hospitals in Gaza continue to face severe disruptions in providing health care. On 4 March, MoH in Gaza announced that, since the onset of the conflict, 155 health facilities had been damaged, and 32 hospitals and 53 health centres had been rendered non-functional, due to attacks or shortages of essentials.

In addition, 126 ambulances had been damaged and rendered unusable. The ministry further reported that 269 medical staff, including hospital directors in Gaza, had been detained by Israeli forces.

Al Awda Hospital in Jabalya resumed partial operations on 4 March after fuel and medical supplies were delivered by WHO, OCHA, UNICEF, and UNFPA as part of a UN inter-agency inspection mission of hospitals in North Gaza.

The hospital had to stop operations on 28 February, due to a lack of electricity, depletion of fuel, and shortages of medical supplies.

On 3 March, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli forces were maintaining their siege of Al Amal Hospital in Khan Younis for the forty-second consecutive day. As a result, there is a severe shortage of essential supplies, including food, water, and fuel.

Meanwhile, a 10-year-old Palestinian child was killed by Israeli forces in Burin village (Nablus). Since 7 October, 107 Palestinian children have been killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

According to Israeli government 1,139 Israelis were killed by Hamas on 7 October in southern Israel and 134 Israelis and foreign nationals are still detained by Hamas in Gaza.
