London, (The Muslim News): Three Palestinians were killed and 25 others injured on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes targeting displacement tents and civilian gatherings across the Gaza Strip, amid continued reported violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in force since October 2025.

According to medical sources speaking to Anadolu Agency, 15-year-old Islam Abushamala and her 35-year-old brother, Abdullah, were killed after Israeli strikes hit two displacement tents west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Six other people were injured in the attack.

Witnesses said an Israeli drone struck two adjacent tents on Al-Rashid Street near the entrance to Roni Street in the Al-Mawasi area, destroying both shelters, damaging nearby tents, and causing multiple casualties. Later, 45-year-old Zaher Abu Salem succumbed to injuries sustained in the same strike.

In Gaza City, 18 Palestinians—most of them women and children—were injured after an Israeli drone targeted pedestrians near the Dabit intersection on Al-Jalaa Street. Two of the wounded were reported to be in critical condition. The strike hit a group of passersby near a tent sheltering displaced families as a public vehicle was passing through the area.

In Jabalia, northern Gaza, a nine-year-old girl was injured after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a gathering of Palestinians in the Al-Faluja area west of the camp.

Meanwhile, in central Gaza, two Israeli tanks and a military bulldozer advanced approximately 200 metres westward southeast of Al-Maghazi Camp and east of Deir al-Balah under heavy gunfire. The vehicles removed yellow concrete blocks marking the so-called “yellow line,” in what witnesses described as a further expansion of Israeli-controlled territory inside the enclave.

Israeli forces remain positioned along the “yellow line,” a security strip established by Israel within Gaza that Palestinians are prohibited from approaching and which encompasses more than 70% of the territory. Witnesses said the latest incursion took place outside the areas designated for Israeli military deployment under the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, reported Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,038 Palestinians and injured 3,329 others as of Saturday.

Local authorities say that since the start of the war on 8 October 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed, over 173,000 injured, and approximately 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.

Meanwhile three police members were among five Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Friday, amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in the enclave.

A medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital told Anadolu that the bodies of three Palestinians and two injured people were brought to the hospital following an Israeli drone strike targeting a civilian vehicle at the entrance to Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

An Israeli drone fired at least two missiles at the vehicle, causing it to catch fire and resulting in deaths and injuries, eyewitnesses told Anadolu.

In a later brief statement, Gaza’s Interior Ministry said the three victims were officers and members of the police force, without providing further details.

A Palestinian, identified as Oday Younis, 35, was killed in an Israeli drone strike in Beit Lahia, and his body was taken to Al-Shifa Hospital, a medical source told Anadolu.

Local sources told Anadolu that Younis was killed while collecting firewood in an area near Israeli military positions in Beit Lahia.

Earlier Friday, Walid Haniyeh, 32, died of critical injuries sustained on Thursday in a separate Israeli drone strike in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.

In southern Gaza, a young man sustained moderate injuries after Israeli forces opened fire in the Nemsawi neighborhood west of Khan Younis, a medical source said.

Witnesses told Anadolu that Israeli military vehicles opened heavy machine-gun fire toward Palestinian homes in residential neighborhoods south and west of the city.

The ceasefire agreement has been in effect in Gaza since Oct. 10, 2025, though violations have continued to be reported across the enclave.

In Lebanon Israeli forces killed one civilian despite ceasefire agreement

One person was killed and two others were injured in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon on Saturday, marking the first reported casualties since Beirut and Tel Aviv signed a framework agreement on Friday.

In a statement, the Lebanese Health Ministry said the Israeli strike targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon.

The strike came less than 24 hours after Beirut and Israel signed a US-sponsored framework agreement aimed at facilitating a phased Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory and reducing hostilities along the border.
