Iraq: Car bomb attack kills 90 in Diyala

 

 

DIYALA,  (AA): A car bomb attack killed at least 90 people, including 15 children in Iraq’s eastern Diyala city on Friday, security sources said.

Sadik Al-Husayni, head of the province’s security committee, told Anadolu Agency the bomb exploded at a market in the Bani Saad district.

He said 40 were injured in the blast.

Earlier in the week at least 21 people were killed in a series of explosions in Baghdad for which Daesh claimed responsibility.
