“Since early morning, we have received 14 Palestinian martyrs and 69 others injured, including 21 in serious condition, from Israeli airstrikes on the Nuseirat camp,” Al-Awda Hospital said in a statement.

LEBANON

Israeli indiscriminate air strikes killed at least 45 people across Lebanon in the past 24 hours according to Lebanese Health Ministry. At least 2,897 people have been killed and 13,157 wounded in Israeli attacks since the war on Gaza began.

According to the Lebanese agency, the Israeli strikes on a home in the village of Buday, killed a man, his wife, and their two children.

Israeli forces launched further airstrikes on residential areas, particularly impacting the town of Makneh, where six members of a single family were killed and six others were wounded.

Three people were killed and five others injured early this morning in an Israeli airstrike in the town of Qmatiyeh in Mount Lebanon.

The WHO says it is deeply concerned about what it calls a shocking number of attacks on Lebanon’s healthcare services.

While 55 attacks have been verified, the actual number of incidents is likely to be significantly higher, WHO official Margaret Harris said at a UN briefing.

More than 100 health workers have been killed in those attacks since late September, the WHO said.

The Israeli army issued on Friday evacuation orders to residents of certain neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs as Israel continued its air and ground attacks on the country.

In a statement, the Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed that residents “are located near facilities and interests belonging to Hezbollah, which the Israeli army will act against in the near future.”

The orders targeted neighborhoods such as Haret Hreik and Tahouitat al-Ghadir, which are home to thousands of Lebanese civilians.

“You must immediately evacuate these buildings and adjacent structures and distance yourselves by at least 500 meters (1,640 feet),” the spokesperson added.

A nearby strike in the village of Douris resulted in extensive damage to homes, businesses, and public infrastructure, with three people sustaining minor injuries.

The news agency highlighted the broader impact of Israeli airstrikes on Baalbek-Hermel and Central Bekaa, which have so far reached 1,035 individual strikes.

Roughly one-quarter of buildings in southern Lebanon have been damaged or destroyed due to intensified Israeli attacks, according to a Washington Post report based on satellite data.

An analysis by the paper, in collaboration with City University of New York Graduate Center and Oregon State University, used Sentinel-1 satellite images and verified videos from social media to examine the impact.

Findings revealed extensive destruction of homes and infrastructure due to ongoing airstrikes and increased ground attacks.

The analysis showed that nearly 25% of structures in 25 municipalities near the Israeli border sustained damage, with controlled demolitions destroyed at least nine religious sites.

In border villages Ayta ash-Shab and Kfar Kila, nearly half of all buildings were severely damaged and at least 5,868 buildings affected from Israeli attacks.

Although Israel has continued its attacks on Lebanon since October last year, 80% of the damage has occurred since Israel launched its ground offensive last month.

Nine Israelis were injured, including one critically, on Friday after rockets launched from Lebanon struck the town of Karmiel in Israel’s Upper Galilee, Israeli media reported.

Channel 13 reported that sirens sounded across Karmiel and nearby areas in northern Israel before the rockets impact, which injured multiple residents.

The Israeli army confirmed that it detected 30 rockets launched from Lebanese territory toward Upper Galilee, according to a statement.

The army noted that “several rockets were intercepted, while others struck within the region.”

Separately, Hezbollah announced on Friday targeting Karmiel in the Upper Galilee with a “rocket salvo.”

It added that its fighters targeted the settlements of Ma’alot-Tarshiha and Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel with rockets.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said on Friday that Israeli statements and diplomatic indicators received by Beirut confirm Tel Aviv’s stubbornness and refusal to accept proposed solutions, insisting instead on a path of violence and destruction.

Mikati made his comments during a meeting with the head of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Gen. Arnaldo Lazaro, held in Beirut.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, Mikati emphasized that “the recent escalation by Israel is a clear indication of its rejection of all efforts aimed at achieving a cease-fire and fully implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701.”

The meeting took place amid US suggestions of a potentially positive atmosphere leading to an agreement to end hostilities in Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes killed seven people and injured 14 late Thursday in towns in the Baalbek district, located in the Baalbek-Hermel province in northeastern Lebanon.

Israeli platforms have published footage of the rigging and detonating of a mosque in the village of Dhahira, in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.

The footage, verified by Al Jazeera, shows the moment the Israeli army blew up the mosque and surrounding houses.

Israeli air strikes pummelled the area around the southern port city of Tyre following an evacuation warning.

The death toll reached six from Israeli airstrike on the town of Makneh, with six injured, one of whom is in critical condition, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.

Another airstrike destroyed a house in the town of Kayyal near Baalbek city, killing a woman and injuring five others, added the agency.

In Douris, three people sustained minor injuries from another strike near the Modern Science Castle building — an educational service institution.

Israel launched a massive air campaign last month in Lebanon against what it claims are Hezbollah targets in an escalation in a year of cross-border warfare between Israel and the group since the start of Israel’s brutal offensive on Gaza.
