Israeli bombardment on Gaza City in the central Gaza Strip Thursday evening killed 15 Palestinians and injured many others, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli forces targeted two houses belonging to the Abu Ammuna and Saidam families in the al-Mukhayyam al-Jadid, an extension of the Nuseirat refugee camp and is located to the north of it, killing nine civilians and injuring dozens of others.

He added that the Israel army also targeted a motorcycle in Az-Zawayda village in the central Strip, killing two civilians, at a time when a house was bombed in the vicinity of the ash-Shanti locality, northwest of Gaza City, resulting in four fatalities and a dozen of casualties.

Several Palestinian civilians were killed and many others injured this evening in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces targeted a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, resulting in multiple Palestinians killed and several others injured.

WAFA correspondent noted that the Israeli forces simultaneously bombed Al-Sabra neighborhood, the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, and the village of Al-Zawayda in the central Gaza Strip.

Seven civilians were killed and many others were injured on Thursday when the Israeli occupation forces bombed several areas in the Gaza Strip.

In the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were killed and many others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed the Abu Shamala family home north of the new camp in Nuseirat.

In the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when the Israeli forces bombed a group of civilians near the Halima al-Sadia area in Jabalia al-Nazla.

Two other civilians were also killed when the Israeli forces’ drones targeted a group of Palestinians in the Ezba area in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, while a child was injured by a Quadcopter drone near the western roundabout area in Beit Lahia

Four civilians were killed and many others were injured on Thursday in the Israeli occupation’s shelling of the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City.

Local sources reported that four civilians were killed and others were injured when the Israeli forces shelled a group of Palestinians near the Al-Sahaba intersection in central Gaza City.

The Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of Al-Quds Hospital in Tal Al-Hawa, southwest of Gaza City, west of Al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip, and the vicinity of Abu Sharia square in Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.

Meanwhile, Spokesman Stephane Dujarric, citing the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said at a news conference:

“OCHA reports that the third floor of Kamal Adwan Hospital was bombed today, resulting in the loss of medical supplies that was delivered just five days ago. The delivery was done by the UN via “a joint mission of the World Health Organization and with the support of OCHA.”

“Hospitals are under assault and rescue teams are unable to work due to the arrests of personnel and the confiscation of essential equipment, including ambulances and a fire truck,” he said. “In the north, intense hostilities continue, especially in Jabalya, Beit Lahya and Beit Hanoun.”

WEST BANK

32-year-old Mu’tasem Saleh Aisha, was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces this evening in the Nour Shams refugee camp, located east of Tulkarm.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transported Aisha, who sustained a serious head injury, to Thabet Thabet Government Hospital.

This brings the total number of people killed by Israeli occupation forces in Tulkarm to four since last night.

Earlier today, another young man was injured by shrapnel from Israeli gunfire, suffering a head wound during an Israeli army incursion into Nour Shams. He has since been transported to the hospital for treatment.

In a related development, Israeli occupation forces stormed the nearby Tulkarm refugee camp, specifically the Al-Balawna neighborhood, following their withdrawal from Nour Shams. They began demolishing infrastructure while imposing a blockade.

Four Palestinians, including a child, were killed on Thursday at dawn in an Israeli drone strike in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem city, the northern occupied West Bank.

The Health Ministry said in a statement that there were “two martyrs in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem as a result of an (Israeli) occupation airstrike.”

Another Palestinian was killed hours earlier in a shooting incident at the Tulkarem camp, the ministry added.

Later, the ministry said, “A body arrived at Tulkarem Governmental Hospital, shot by Israeli forces in the Nur Shams refugee camp.”

Meanwhile, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa said the Israeli army, escorted by bulldozers, raided Tulkarem and its Nur Shams refugee camp at an early hour.

The Israeli bulldozers started to destroy the infrastructure and people’s properties in the camp, it added.

The Palestinian agency reported fierce clashes and the sound of explosions in the camp while the drones were flying over the camp.

Witnesses later told Anadolu Agency that the army withdrew from the city and its camps following Israeli soldiers’ military actions, which included extensive searches and raids that caused significant infrastructure damage.

The Israeli army demolished the office of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem on Thursday, a local official said.

“Israeli bulldozers brought down the building, through which the UN agency runs the daily needs of residents,” Nehad al-Shaweeh, who heads a local service committee in the camp, told Anadolu.

The demolition came three days after the Knesset (Israel’s parliament) passed a law on Monday banning UNRWA from operating, which would eventually affect its work in Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The legislation will take effect in 90 days.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini called the Israeli ban “unprecedented and dangerous,” and in violation of the UN Charter.

According to the Palestinian official news agency Wafa, there are two schools and a health center run by UNRWA in Nur Shams camp.

LEBANON

Israeli indiscriminate attacks killed 58 people and injured 210 in Lebanon in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to around 2,865 and injured to 13,045 since October 2023, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.

Israeli army bombing killed six Lebanese medics and wounded four others in multiple attacks.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah rockets leave seven people dead in northern Israel – one of the deadliest days since Israeli military invaded southern Lebanon.

Israeli airstrikes Tuesday on southern and eastern Lebanon killed 30 people, and injured 165, it said.

Israeli warplanes killed seven people and injured 14 late Thursday in towns in the Baalbek district, located in the Baalbek-Hermel province in northeastern Lebanon.

The death toll reached six from Israeli airstrike on the town of Makneh, with six injured, one of whom is in critical condition, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.

Another airstrike destroyed a house in the town of Kayyal near Baalbek city, killing a woman and injuring five others, added the agency.

In Douris, three people sustained minor injuries from another strike near the Modern Science Castle building — an educational service institution.

Lebanese civilians in the southern towns of Saida and Sarafand dispute Israel’s claims about targeting Hezbollah positions, and assert that airstrikes are instead hitting residential areas and killing civilians.

In one of the deadliest attacks, an Israeli strike killed 15 people Tuesday, including women and children, when it struck a residential building in the Sarafand village, according to officials.

“The targeted building was in a residential area where civilians lived. This area was never used for military purposes,” Sarafand Mayor Ali Khalife told Anadolu, noting approximately 18 airstrikes had hit the area recently, with eight civilians killed before the attack on Tuesday.

The building housed 21 people at the time of the strike, with 15 killed, according to Khalife. “Israel has committed a massacre against civilians, children, elderly, and women,” he said, emphasizing the strikes violate international law.

Witnesses reported extensive damage to civilian infrastructure in Saida. Abdullah, a shopkeeper, described shrapnel from the strikes damaging surrounding buildings, destroying television sets, solar panels and nearby water pipes.

“Among the dead were children and a doctor. These people had absolutely no connection to military activities,” said Abdullah, countering Israeli statements about targeting militant positions.

Hassan, another resident of Saida, stressed the civilian nature of the targeted areas. “Israel shot innocent people. If they want to fight, they should fight at the border,” he said. “Where are the countries that defend human rights? If they really defend human rights, they would not support a usurper (Israel).”

The rising violence has raised alarm about civilian casualties in Lebanon, with officials stating that most of the approximately 2,800 Lebanese killed in recent attacks were unarmed civilians.

The attacks have drawn criticism from officials, who said the international community has remained largely silent on civilian casualties.

Khalife voiced frustration at the lack of condemnation from international human rights organizations and what he described as global acquiescence to Israel’s actions.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 said the rocket directly hit Metula settlement, killing one Israeli and four foreign nationals, without specifying their nationalities.

The Times of Israel news portal said the rocket hit an agricultural area in the settlement.

It came one day after two Israelis were injured in a rocket attack on the same settlement on Wednesday.

The Israeli army ordered civilians in 10 more towns in southern Lebanon on Thursday to evacuate their areas ahead of airstrikes.

Military spokesman Avichay Adraee said on X that residents of the targeted towns must leave immediately and head north of the Awali River.

The list of targeted towns includes Haouch, Bazouriye, Rashidieh Camp, Borgholiyeh, Bestiyyat, Houmayri, Arzai, Matariyat Al-Shoumar, Kharayeb, and Ansar.

Adraee claimed that Hezbollah activities in these areas necessitated a “strong action” from Israeli forces.

Despite substantial civilian casualties from recent Israeli attacks, Adraee insisted that immediate evacuation was essential to protect residents.

At least seven people were killed and three others injured in fresh Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, according to Lebanese media on Thursday.

Israeli warplanes struck a house in the town of Deir El-Zahrani in Nabatieh, leaving three people dead, the state news agency NNA reported.

Three more people were killed and three others injured in another strike targeting Sohmor town in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, the news agency said.

A drone strike on a motorcycle in Aaraiya in western Bekaa killed one person, according to the same source.

Israeli artillery shelling was also reported in the southern town of Chihine with Lebanese media reporting the use of shells containing the internationally-prohibited white phosphorus material in the attack.

SYRIA

Syrian authorities reported Israeli airstrikes in the city of Qusayr in the central Homs province on Thursday.

The state news agency SANA said civilians were injured in the Israeli attack that targeted industrial and residential neighborhoods in the city, causing material damage.

Thursday’s attack came a week after similar Israeli strikes killed a soldier and injured seven others in Homs and Damascus on Oct. 24.

Israel typically refrains from commenting on its frequent airstrikes in Syria, which it claims are aimed at Iran-backed groups and Syrian military positions
