Like a falling leaf
Trembling in the breeze,
A broken splint
Tossed in the wind,
A hanging thread
Torn from a silken web,
I am falling,
Flailing,
Afraid
Until I reach
The dust beneath,
Forehead down
On the cold ground
And all fear
And strain
Fades
I am safe,
Secure
In His embrace
