Reading

• 38 of the 44 Muslim schools featured had over 89 percent (national average) of their students reaching Level 4 and above in Reading; meaning that 86 percent of Muslim schools surpassed the national average of Level 4 and above in Reading. 17 Muslim schools had a 100 percent pass rate in Level 4 and above in Reading.

• 33 of the 44 Muslim schools featured had over 49 percent (national average) of their students reaching Level 5 and above in Reading; meaning that 75 percent of Muslim schools surpassed the national average of Level 5 and above in Reading. 2 Muslim schools had a 100 percent pass rate in Level 5 and above in Reading.

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling

• 40 of the 44 Muslim schools featured had over 80 percent (national average) of their students reaching Level 4 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling; meaning that 91 percent of Muslim schools surpassed the national average of Level 4 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling. 18 Muslim schools had a 100 percent pass rate in Level 4 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.

• 29 of the 44 Muslim schools featured had over 56 percent (national average) of their students reaching Level 5 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling; meaning that 67 percent of Muslim schools surpassed the national average of Level 5 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling. 3 Muslim schools had a 100 percent pass rate in Level 5 and above in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.
