Gaza: 150 Palestinians killed by Israeli bombings last 24 hours

GAZA CITY, Palestine: Ministry of Health reported that 150 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli bombings in the last 24 hours in Gaza, leading to total Palestinians killed to 26,900, including 11,500 children, 8,000 women, 65,949 injured. 8,000 Palestinians are missing.

The Israeli army on Wednesday stormed the courtyard of Al-Amal Hospital affiliated with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip following a 10-day siege, reported Anadolu Agency.

“Occupation forces are currently raiding Al-Amal Hospital square (and are) stationed in front of the external gate of the reception and emergency department and firing heavily,” the Red Crescent said on X.

“Despite ongoing bombardment and gunfire, the medical teams at PRCS Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis persist in treating the wounded and patients,” it added.

“Today, the hospital received seven martyrs, including a PRCS employee, and attended to nine injuries. The siege and targeting have endured for the tenth consecutive day.”

Ambulance crews and civilians have recovered about 14 bodies of Palestinians after a partial retreat of Israeli vehicles from a Khan Younis refugee camp towards other areas inside the city, reported Al Jazeera

Footage obtained and verified by Al Jazeera shows the bodies arriving at Nasser Hospital to be prepared for burial.

They show funeral prayers being performed in the presence of distraught relatives in the hospital’s courtyard.
