News not reported elsewhere
Sir, What I like about The Muslim News is that the news you published are not available elsewhere. So for example, in October 31 issue you had a story on the ‘Muslim activist sentenced to life in China’ highlighting human rights abuses against Muslims in China.
What we usually get in the other media is about human rights abuses against other Chinese people and Christian Chinese. We haven’t seen any campaign in the West for Muslim activist Ilham Tohti, for his rights or for his release.

Sir, It seems there are so many Muslims who participated in the Asian Games and large number who won medals. (The Muslim News October, 31)
It is pleasing to see the images of both genders with medals, especially women winning medals in the games. Pakistan and Iran ones were my best as generally these two countries are always portrayed negatively in the media.
Keep up the good work. We need more positive stories.
Yours,
Ayesha Mohammed
