Brilliant election coverage

22nd May 2015

Sir, Brilliant PM interview [‘Muslims should not be viewed through prism of security, says Cameron in an exclusive interview’]. Keep up the fantastic election coverage. The Muslim News making all of us proud.

Sir, You have done an excellent job in providing us with such a comprehensive coverage of the elections. No one has focused on the Muslim perspective to the elections. Kudos to you for the three exclusive party leader interviews – Nick Clegg, Ed Miliband, David Cameron. The interviews were in depth reflecting Muslim issues, especially on counter terrorism and Islamophobia. Pity Ed Miliband didn’t win. At least he would have protected the Muslim community from hate attacks.
Tories are only concerned about hate speeches by Muslims and don’t care about how we feel and are living under siege due to their unjust laws. What I like about your reporting is that you did not take any sides unlike all the print newspapers. Keep up your neutrality and keep us informed to make informed decisions.
Yours,

Sir, What would we do without The Muslim News? You never fail us. Whatever it is, you fill the gap that the other media do not report on. The election reporting was unbelievable. It was so comprehensive.
You gave us views of all the three party leaders showing your non-partisanship. This is very important as you allow us the make up our own mind on who we should vote for. You are unique in this. All the talk that Muslims only support Labour. This is not true at all. I know many who vote for Tories. I liked the list and constituencies of where Muslim candidates are standing and their views. I didn’t realize there were so many Muslim candidates for UKIP.
Yours,
Hanif Ali
