Pakistan beat Oman 8-0 in Asian Games hockey match

 

 

South Korea, (APP): Pakistan on Saturday defeated Oman by 8-0 in the Asian Games hockey event at the Seonhak Hockey Stadium.

This is the fourth consecutive win for Pakistan. Pakistan had earlier defeated Sri Lanka by 14-0.

Earlier on September 25, defending champion Pakistan beat arch-rivals India 2-1 in a pool “B” match in the Asian Games hockey event at Munhak Hockey Stadium.

The crucial encounter had decided the fate of the group as the win lifted Pakistan to the top of the pool, sealing a place for the defending champions in the semi-finals
