Pakistan: Two FC personnel killed in shoot-out in Bolan

QUETTA, (Dawn): At least two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and four dacoits were killed on Sunday during an exchange of fire in the Bhag area of Balochistan’s Bolan district, FC sources said.

According to FC sources, security personnel conducted a raid to arrest a wanted dacoit Gul Bahar in the Bhag area, adding that the raiding team came under fire as soon as they entered the area to arrest the suspects.

Two companions of Gul Bahar were killed in retaliatory action by security forces.

Huge quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered during the raid. FC sources said the gang was involved in different acts of kidnappings and robberies.

The security operations continued till the filing of this report.
