KARACHI: Unknown gunmen on Friday morning opened indiscriminate firing on a car, local shops and in the adjoining area, and killed three persons including a woman while five others were also injured in Kharadar area, Geo News reported.


According to reports, unidentified culprits riding on six motorbikes opened indiscriminate firing in different locations in Kharadar, resultantly killing three persons including a woman. A car and several shops also came under attack when the armed culprits were passing through the area.


The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital where three are said to be in critical condition.


After the incident, tension gripped the area forcing the shopkeepers to shut their shops.


Members of law enforcement agencies reached the spot and cordoned off the area while investigation was also kicked off into the violent incident.
