Pakistan: Peshawar: Two policemen injured in Pishtakhara blast

PESHAWAR, (The News): Two policemen were injured in a remote-controlled blast that occurred near a police van in Pishtakhara area of Peshawar on Friday morning, Geo News reported.

 

According to initial reports, a police mobile was on routine patrolling in Pishtakhara when a remote-controlled blast occurred that injured two security personnel. The vehicle was also damaged due to the impact.

 

Police force cordoned off the area and rescue teams kicked off rescue efforts and transferred the injured to hospital. Police told that police van was the target of the blast.

Further details are yet to be ascertained.
