Pakistan: Karachi godown fire under control

KARACHI: Massive fire, which erupted at a cargo godown in Karachi on Wednesday night, has been brought under control after three hours, Geo News reported.


Fire brigade officials said 16 fire tenders including that of Karachi Port Trust vehicles took part in dousing the blaze. The officials declared the fire as third-degree inferno.


Different kind of chemical and plastic material was stored in the godown.


Officials said the fire has been brought under control and the cooling process is underway.
