HEBRON (MA’AN): Dozens of right-wing Israeli settlers from Beit Hadassah settlement outpost in the old city of Hebron on Sunday morning attacked the family of Mufeed Sharabati in their home Shuhada Street, a local group said.
Activists of Hebron’s Youth Against Settlements group told Ma’an that Israeli soldiers escorted the settlers who attacked the Palestinian house. Several Palestinian neighbors intervened to help Sharabati family.
Ahmad Amr, an activist within the group, said settlers attacked with a poisonous spray 47-year-old Mufeed Sharabati, his son Marwan, 8, Umm Abed Salaymah, Sultan Zahida, 13, as well as Haytham Natsha and Ali Shehadah. They all collapsed and were evacuated by ambulances to the public hospital in Hebron.
After the attack, young Palestinian men gathered in Shuhada Street and clashed with Israeli troops.
