“Israeli forces fired teargas canisters into the Al-Nahda School in the southern West Bank city of Hebron [Al-Khalil],” Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official who monitors illegal Israeli settlement activity, told Anadolu Agency.
“Israeli troops fired teargas and stun grenades inside the school courtyard, injuring several students,” he said.
“Many of the children also suffered emotional trauma as a result of the sudden attack,” he added.

The tear gas and stun grenades caused dozens of students and teachers to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation, including some students who fainted.
The soldiers also fired gas bombs and workers of the Hebron City Council, near the school, causing them to suffer the severe effects of teargas inhalation.
According to Daghlas, Israeli forces sporadically raid Palestinian schools in the West Bank on the pretext that students had pelted Israeli soldiers with stones.
