RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – A Palestinian minor was killed by Israeli gunfire during clashes in the occupied West Bank on Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army shot two Palestinian minors at the entrance of Halhoul town near Hebron, under the pretext that they had attempted to attack Israeli soldiers with Molotov cocktails.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that Haitham Ismail al-Bou, 14, was killed after being shot in the head. His nephew, Wajdi Yousef al-Bou, was also injured by Israeli gunfire, the ministry added.
Heavy clashes broke out on Friday between angry Palestinian youths and the Israeli army in several areas across the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.
