IMEMC News: The Ahrar Center for Detainees Studies and Human Rights reported Tuesday that Israeli soldiers broke into the home of legislator Mohammad Abu Teir, in Kufur ‘Aqeb village, and kidnapped him after violently searching his home.

Fuad Al-Khoffash, head of the Ahrar Center, stated that Abu Teir spent a total of 25 years in Israeli prisons.
Abu Teir, from occupied East Jerusalem, was illegally forced out of his city on October 8 2010, after being illegally kidnapped by Israel, and spent five months under Administrative Detention without charges or trial.
Al-Khoffash denounced the arrest of Abu Teir, and stated that his arrest is yet another Israeli war crime, and a violation to all related human rights resolutions.
The arrest on Abu Teir brings the number of illegally imprisoned democratically-elected legislators to 14.
