The Maan News Agency reported that the clashes were concentrated in Bab Az-Zawiya, in the center of Hebron, in Halhoul nearby town, in Al-Arroub refugee camp, in Al-Fawwar refugee camp, and the At-Tabaqa village.

On Friday evening, one resident was shot by a live round in his arm during clashes that took place in Bab Az-Zawiya.

Hebron has been the center of ongoing clashes, that extended to different parts of the occupied West Bank, following the death of detainee Maisara Abu Hamdiyya, 64, who died at the Intensive Care Unit at the Soroka Israeli hospital on Tuesday morning suffering from an advanced stage of cancer resulting of medical negligence in Israeli prisons.

On Wednesday at night, a Palestinian teenager was killed and at least three others have been injured by Israeli military fire during clashes that took place at the Ennab roadblock, east of Tulkarem.

Dozens of Palestinians have been injured in Hebron, as well as other parts of the occupied West Bank, and several Palestinians have been detained and kidnapped by the army since the death of Abu Hamdiyya on Tuesday.
