A great evening and very impressive event, which showcases the contributions of Muslims in different spheres of life in the UK. Many congratulations to the Editor of Muslim News and the winners of the awards this year.

Congratulations on such a great practice of rewarding excellence among British Muslims. It is always disheartening to hear of negative portrayals of Muslims in the media. We need more parading of great achievements in the British Society and the World at large.

Over 120 people attended a landmark conference on the media reporting of Islam and Muslims. It was held jointly by The Muslim News and Society of Editors in London on September 15.
