HOUSTON, (Xinhua): Four people were killed and seven others injured in a head-on crash in the U.S. state of Texas Friday, authorities said.
The crash happened on a highway near Glen Rose, a city 350 km northwest of Texas’s largest city Houston, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
An eastbound car, for unknown reasons, veered into a westbound minivan’s path, leading to the head-on crash. The victims were believed to be two families and teenagers were among the injured, according to media reports.
It’s not immediately know how serious their injuries were. Part of the highway has been sealed off and an investigation is underway.
